Innofenyx is a small 3D printing workshop in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, Quebec. We've been printing - first as hobbyists, then professionally - for over 12 years. Today we serve product designers, startups, makers, and collectors across Canada and the US.
Our story
Innofenyx is mostly run by Dave, who's been 3D printing for over 12 years. The early years were hands-on: he built his own printers, ran production batches in the thousands, and automated the workflow around them - production line, logistics, inventory. In 2025, with that experience banked, he launched Innofenyx out of the workshop in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval as a service business so others could put those years of practice to work directly.
The principle hasn't changed since day one: clients get the same attention to detail we'd want on our own work. We treat every project like it's ours.
What hasn't changed: we still hand-inspect every order before it ships, we still print everything in our own space, and we still say no when a project isn't a fit. Twelve-plus years in front of FDM printers teaches you which projects work and which don't - we'd rather tell you upfront than overpromise and under-deliver.
What we do
Four core services, all FDM:
- Custom 3D Printing - bespoke one-off pieces.
- Prototyping - iterative work for designers and engineers.
- Small-Batch Production - runs of 10 to 500 units.
- Design Assistance - modelling for clients without CAD files.
For ready-made pieces we also run our shop and an Etsy storefront - mythology busts, dragons, gaming and radio accessories, and more.
What sets us apart
Real workshop, real hands
Every order printed and inspected in our space, by us. No outsourcing, no rented capacity.
Honest scope
Small batches, FDM only. We don't claim capabilities we don't have.
Quebec-based, NA-served
Fast tracked shipping across Canada and the US, with international by request.
12+ years of FDM
We've debugged the problems before you encounter them.
Our capabilities
FDM printing across PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, and specialty filaments. Layer heights from 0.08 mm to 0.28 mm. Build volumes up to 250 × 250 × 250 mm in a single piece. Tolerance typically ±0.2 mm or 0.2% of nominal.
Equipment
We do all our printing in-house and pick the best machine for each job rather than forcing every project through one printer. Our farm is upgraded continuously - new printers added when capacity demands it, older ones replaced when better tooling becomes available. If your project depends on a specific capability, ask us in your inquiry and we'll tell you what we've got.
Sustainability
We use eco-friendly PLA grades where the project allows, recycle filament spools, and minimize support material in our slicer settings. None of this is greenwashing - it's just what makes sense in a small workshop where waste shows up in the cost line.
